Call for Abstracts
Please submit a one-page abstract as soon as possible and no later than the deadlines noted below. In order to allow a scientific assessment of the work by the organizers, the abstract should include both the significance of the research as well as results that will be discussed.
Please choose one conference theme (See Conference themes for details) in which you feel your contribution is best suited:
- VIT Engg: Viticulture and farm engineering/technology/innovation
- WINE Engg: Engineering/technology/innovation in grape processing and winemaking
- Innovation & Sustainability Engg: Sustainability and innovation in processing and packaging including waste valorization
As only a limited number of oral presentation slots are available, all submissions will be considered for both oral and poster presentations. So as to increase the opportunity for discussion, we expect all those whose abstracts are selected for oral presentations will also present a poster.
Oral abstract submission deadline: October 31, 2026
Poster abstract submission deadline: January 15, 2027
- Abstracts must be submitted electronically and prepared according to this template: docx or doc.
- Abstracts of all presentations will be available to conference participants prior to the start of the conference.

The best posters display a succinct statement of major conclusions at the beginning, followed by supporting text in later segments and a brief summary at the end. Click here for more information.
